What is a Google 360 Virtual Tour and where does it show up?
A Google 360 Virtual Tour is made with a DSLR camera with a special lens attached to it. The camera is placed on a special manually rotating head that is attached to a tripod. We then take 12 pictures for one panoramic image, which consist of an under exposed, regular exposure and over exposed picture. The individual pictures are then stitched together through a specialized software system.
We then take all of the panoramic images and put them in another software system to line them up and make the tour flow as it should through your business.
Where does the Google 360 tour show up?
The Google 360 Virtual Tour will show up in the Google Business Listing and Google Maps Business Listing in the picture section under “360 View”. The Google Business Listing is the very first thing that someone will see when they do a Google search for any business. Google doesn’t care about your website, Facebook page or Instagram account. Google cares about Google.So when someone finds you on Google and Google Maps, they can virtually walk around your business. The tour is also good for local SEO purposes.
